About Project
MyinTharMyoOo School is known for its clean, orderly dormitories and well-disciplined students. The head monk not only teaches academic subjects but also vocational skills such as handicrafts, electrical wiring, steelwork, and computer literacy. Although the school currently has only 9 classrooms, it provides education from KG to Grade 10 for over 800 students. Due to the high number of students and limited classroom space, some classes are held in temporary buildings, and the school operates on a two-shift system.
Recognizing its strong academic performance and the excellent leadership of the head monk, Pann Thee Foundation donated a 6-storey school building with 36 classrooms to help MyinTharMyoOo School become the leading monastic education center in the township.
To accommodate over 400 boarding students, a 5-storey dormitory was also donated. Additionally, the foundation provided two computer labs equipped with 82 computers, as well as practical science lab equipment.
