About Project

Takaung Shwe Pyi Monastery School is located in Takaung Township, a very remote area far from Mandalay. The school has over 300 students and only one school building, which was donated by Switzerland. The other classrooms are dark, damp temporary shelters. As the head monk requested assistance for additional classrooms, a new school building with 4 classrooms was built and donated.
