About Project

Chan Mya Thar Si Monastery school has no permanent school building and currently operates only in temporary shelters. It offers education from KG to Grade 8 and has over 300 students. Among them, four Grade 8 students are studying here because they cannot attend government schools.

Since the head monk already has designated land set aside for building a school, a one-story school building with six classrooms was donated on this site. Additionally, two of the classrooms were specially built as large rooms to accommodate the middle school students.
